Gaudi’s City
Barcelona, often called the City of Gaudí, is one of the most artistic and architecturally stunning cities in the world. Located in Catalonia, Spain, it is famous for the visionary works of Antoni Gaudí, whose creativity transformed the city into a masterpiece of modernist architecture. Gaudí’s unique style blends Gothic, Art Nouveau, and natural forms, creating designs inspired by nature, religion, and imagination. His most iconic creation is the Sagrada Família, a magnificent basilica that has been under construction since 1882 and symbolizes harmony between art and faith. Other remarkable works include Park Güell, a colorful mosaic-filled park with panoramic city views; Casa Batlló, known for its wavy façade and dragon-shaped roof; and Casa Milà (La Pedrera), with its flowing stone exterior and surreal rooftop chimneys.
